Feudal System...
The structure of feudal society was much like a pyramid. At the top reigned the King and Queen who possess all of the power and have a large amount of influence on the people they rule. Next were lords and nobles who would attend to business matters in relation to his land. Reports would be heard regarding estate crops, harvests and supplies. Nobles were almost always very wealthy. Knights having the 3rd place in the feudal system were pardoned by the pope of all past and future sins when they gave service. They were typically utilized for crusades. Last but not least were the peasants who made up the majority of the population. Life as a peasant was very difficult. A large amount of peasant worked as farmers who worked the fields daily, planting, harvesting, and fertilizing plants.
